About Us
We’re a busy, family-owned transmission and full-service automotive repair shop with loyal customers and a strong reputation. We’re looking for an experienced Service Advisor who can keep work organized, communicate clearly, and build customer trust.
If you understand automotive repair, take pride in customer service, and can confidently explain the value of recommended work without high-pressure sales tactics, we’d like to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
- Guide customers through the repair process, from initial check-in through vehicle pickup.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and document them accurately on repair orders.
- Work closely with technicians to prepare accurate estimates and explain findings, repair options, and preventative maintenance.
- Present recommendations confidently, obtain customer authorization, and document approvals and declined work.
- Keep customers informed about repair progress, pricing changes, and completion times.
- Coordinate parts, scheduling, and workflow to help keep repairs moving.
- Maintain detailed repair order notes and follow through on outstanding estimates and customer requests.
- Address customer concerns professionally and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance; transmission knowledge is a plus.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical information in everyday language.
- A proven ability to sell needed repairs and maintenance honestly and confidently.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- The ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced shop.
- A dependable, professional attitude and a willingness to support the team.
- Comfort using shop management software; Tekmetric experience is a plus.
